Car Donations in California

My car was crashed into and my insurance had lapsed because the post office lost my mail because I moved and I didn’t realize my insurance lapsed by only three weeks, and I’ve been with out a car for 3 months. I really need to get a job because I am a single mother and it’s like catch 22, without a car, can’t get a job, and my repairs will cost 3,150 dollars and that doesn’t include the cosmetic damage only the essential inside work. Or can someone donate the 3,150 for me to get the old car out ? I really need a car bad.

Does anyone know any business an organizations i can get to give money donation for an event i’m hosting? an who would they be? also is there a car company that will donate a car to a poor family for free if i contact them on the family behalf?

she is leaving in April and has to raise her own money to travel with “People to People”. The economy is terrible and we are having a tough time getting donations, personal or corporate. Too cold for car washes & bake sales….any ideas?

My ex and I have a car together. He signed over the title to me but will not sign over the bill of sale, or donation paperwork so I can get a new registration. If I take him to small claims and show that he signed the title, will he have to give me a bill of sale?

Does anyone know of a Military charity in SE Michigan that takes used car donations where the Vets get the car to sell for parts and get to keep the money they make from it? I have a good used car that I would like to donate to something like that. But only if the vet who gets the car gets to sell it for parts and keep all the money they make from it. Please give website or phone number if you have it. Charity Orgs only please.

I’ve heard that if you’re an organ donor, should you be in a serious car accident, doctors are less inclined to keep you alive if your organs could be harvested.

On the other hand, if I were in a fatal car accident I would like my organs to be a help to others… however, only if I were already dead and there were no chance of my survival.

What should I do?

I just bought a new car. I still love my old car and couldn’t bring myself to trade it in. So instead I’m going to donate it to the Salvation Army. What do I need to know about doing this? Do I need to do anything with the title to protect myself? Is the tax stuff easy to handle? Will they give my car to someone who will treat it right and really appreciate it?

Hillary proposes lots of government programs.

These programs will cost lots of money.

Not only will the government need more money for these programs, which ain’t gonna come from bake sales and car washes, but usually means more taxes, but…

Hillary has been very fiscally irresponsible with her campaign money – unpaid invoices, running out of money, millions of dollars paid to insiders and their consulting businesses, wrong assumptions when budgeting, no reserve back-up money, constantly begging for more donations.

Does it scare anyone to put Hillary in charge if she is promising these very expensive programs and doesn’t seem to be able to work within a budget? Are we looking at the possibility of runaway taxation when there are the cost overruns? Why should we put her in a position to actually start these programs, putting the taxpayers in a positions that our money will be Hoovered in taxes to pay for the inevitable runaway costs? Am I missing something???

I used to know a site where one could register and get donations to reach a certain goal, I’m pretty sure it was free… my cat got hit by a car a few days ago and most likely has a broken pelvis, surgery and everything else would probably be over a thousand dollars altogether and we’re in a very bad financial situation right now. I really need to raise funds quickly – are there any sites where I can do that? Any ideas? My cat’s in pain… I don’t want to let him die… but need the money!

Some friends and I have had a crew / car club for years. However it was mostly just hanging out and chilling. now that we are older and some members have or are planning to get motorcycles. we are moving more towards an official auto club. We have desire to return something to our community by starting charity events and the such. We have support but we’re trying to get away from the street crew image and a real club. we have our logo and some local merchants on board to help us (making the patches and such). we are NOT a 1% oriented club and truly wish to benefit the community. However, we haven’t looked into it yet, but we see it hard to do charity events (collecting donations and such) without going through some channels to take care of taxes and such. Also to be official so someone feels better about donating to a real club insted of just a bunch bikers or people in tricked out cars. any ideas to pursue this path are appreciated thank you.

I read they’ll still take automobiles if they have air in the tires. BUT, my car does NOT run. Will they still take it? I want it out of my yard!–Thanks!
