I think the previous owner blew the seal. Does anyone know where I can get a used automatic transmission for my 1998 Hyundai Elantra? I can take the old one out of a donor car if needed. I’d be awful greatful if someone might be able locate one for me ($).hint hint. Is there anyone out there who can check this out for me?

The junk yard would be the best place to start… but by getting a used one (if you can find one) may not be much better than what you have.

Since it’s an older car a used tranny may be a little hard to get but I always tell people to look here to start with
