If I have the regular title to a junk, how do I convert it into a junk certificate if I wanted to scrap it because the scrap yards are telling me the car must have a junk certificate to be accepted? Do I have to pay any fees? Does registration (tags) have to be brought up to date or anything like that? Please anybody out there help out that might actually know a pretty accurate answer would be great! Thanks!

Ok, I finally figured out what is wrong with my car. Its a vacuum leak, so I need a power brake booster. I check on auto zone website and kragens website and they all run about 130 bucks and more. So I need to find one cheaper, if possible. How do I go about doing so?

I have a 20 year old gas guzzling car that I want to replace.
Rather than sell it to someone else, for them to poillute with it, I would rather junk the car. .
I understand that there was a program in California where they would buy an old car for $1,000 and junk it.
The car I have would sell for about $1,500 on the open market, but I would rather sell it to some program that would pay me $1,000 and junk the car so that we do not have so many old polluting cars on our roads.

I am a club president at my high school in California. I had heard (although only once so I am not sure) that philanthropy clubs could not donate to charities, for example St. Jude’s Hospital. I thought that was incorrect and other people have told me that the club can donate to such organizations. I wanted to clarify and was hoping someone was familiar with such regulations.

My father is really sick, he is going to die soon. Dr says it would be a miracle if he lived until Christmas. We don’t have money for the funeral. We have done 2 car-wash and its been bad. In my days in Southern California (2003), I remember charity places that would sell used cars (some jalopies, some really nice cars if you know what to look for). The Salvation Army and other charitable organizations would do that around the Oxnard-Ventura area. Do you know of these and similar places?
