Goodwill South Texas Carries on the Circle of Hope

27 Sep

Goodwill South Texas believes in continuing the Circle of Hope. What this means is the way in which Goodwill Industries uses it’s donations. By receiving donations from people in the local area, they are then able to employ people to repair, process and sell these items. Revenue from this sale is used to pay employees and also for various vocational and life training scemes. This is refered to as the Circle of Hope. Items donated by the local community is used to help people in that community, turning them into self-sufficient, productive members of society.

The Circle of Hope is really a great idea when you stop and think about it. The problem is that in today’s hectic hustle and bustle world, some people don’t take the time to stop and think things through. However, Goodwill Industries has thrived thanks to this principle, relying on donations from within the community, in order to help the whole community. If you’ve never donated before, you’re not doing your part to help complete the Circle of Hope.

In adition to smaller donations, such as clothes, Goodwill Industries’ Circle of Hope also relies on car donations. If you have an old car that is rusting on your driveway or in your garage, before you sell it or give it away to someone else, think about how it could be a valuable addition to the Circle of Hope. A single car donation can go a long way towards allowing Goodwill Industries to do what they do best – helping people in your community to work towards becoming self-sufficient.

Charity Dispatch makes the whole process easier for you and can help you with all the steps necessary for donating your car to charity. If you want to help with the Circle of Hope created by Goodwill Industries, donating a used car can go a long way in helping them help people.
