Car Donations in California

If you die in a car accident on impact, can they still use your tissues and/or organs?

I’m writing a persuasive speech on organ donation so please answer if you know! Thanks

We had 3 embryo impalanted in the surroagate with no luck. We have only one left. It is a very expensive procedure. So we are in need of more embryos. I have heard of embryo donatation but I am having trouble finding palces. Anyone know where to look.? Anyone have any that would like to donate to a loving couple that have lost there one child in a car accident.

I’ve heard that if you’re an organ donor, should you be in a serious car accident, doctors are less inclined to keep you alive if your organs could be harvested.

On the other hand, if I were in a fatal car accident I would like my organs to be a help to others… however, only if I were already dead and there were no chance of my survival.

What should I do?

NOW WITH THE FACE TRANSPLANTS AND STUFF, I DON’T THINK I WANT TO GO THERE ANYMORE. PLUS I HEARD THAT IF YOU FOR EXAMPLE, GET IN A CAR ACCIDENT WITH SOMEONE AND ONE IS A DONOR AND THE OTHER IS NOT, THEY’LL TRY AND SAVE THE NON-DONOR FIRST. I FOUND THAT OUT FROM A VERY GOOD SOURCE! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!
Even if my car accident example wouldn’t be true, so what? I think when you choose to be a donor or not, you have your reasons, whether it’s some selfish reason or whatever it may be. I personally wouldn’t want to be a donor, even if it was any other organ. Not anymore. Even if the face transplant isn’t legalized in the U.S. or whatever, it’s bound to come to the U.S. sooner or later. Just like all other surgeries, who cares where they started from, if it’s a good surgery, it’ll get around and ppl will want it. If I would ever need an organ it surely wouldn’t be from ca_garcia_s. Plus, if it’s a deceased donor, he (or anyone) wouldn’t get to choose if they want to give me their organ or not, they’re dead. If you have the money, you pay for it and there. Plus, I don’t think I’d want anything foreign in my body, complications coud get ugly, I’d probably rather die or fight it whether anyone believes I can make it or not. Just my selfish point of view.

July 4, 2005 My 14 y.o. son was struck and killed by a car. His death answered prayers for the families of 5 people awaiting life-saving organ transplant. If you or someone you love were to die suddenly, would you consider giving that same gift of life? Why or why not?

I live in Washington state and need to get to Maryland for child custody court. I have a pro bono attorney. I would need airline tickets,rental car,and motel fare.

Can I donate blood without my donor card at the Red Cross? I have an appt today but I left my card in my brother’s car and won’t have it until Thursday. I don’t have my driver’s lisence either. What if I take my birth certificate or something?

I have a 4 1/2 month old American Staffie and I would love him to be a blood donor for other dogs who might need his help. (Such as a dog who gets hit by a car and need surgery) I don’t know how to get him started and I want to start young so he gets used to it!
