More and more I see mexicans doing the “car wash for donation” gig. I’m not liking this trend. I rather prefer the college co-eds in string bikinis….but what do I know.

I have a relative who makes a few bucks a month(seriously, like only $5) with his online public charity each month. I don’t want him to get into trouble for it so this info. will help.
He’s only made a total of $35 since he started.

Have a 1990 Ford Taurus with 100k miles but with a blown engine that has been sitting on my property for 5 years. Missing battery and some plastic parts like windshield fluid holder were eaten by mice.
Donating to charity is not an option since I cant take tax deduction.
How can I get rid of a car that is no longer running. It must be removed soon! IN Charleston, West Virginia?

The car is not in the best shape at all and it needs alot of work but I am willing to just give it to charity or a junk yard. I just do not know how to go about doing that. All of the charities I have contacted will not take it because it does not run. HELP…My landlord wants it moved ASAP…..

Lets say someone is running a non-profit business that claims to be helping people by offering a safe place for people trying to recover from drug or alcohol addictions. In this case the person in question excepts donated cars, vehicles, and anything else that may be donated to him. This person also buys cars at auctions for resell, but he prefers to take donated cars so he can resell them .
He claims that the money earned by selling donated cars goes towards the running operations of the houses that the disabled people live in. BUT I lived in one of these houses for over 5 years and I have not once seen him use any car sell cash being used for the purpose of housing the residents. IN FACT, not only was he charging rent higher then most landlords, he also put 2 people in each room at $550 a piece. In total he collects $4400 in rent for one 5 bedroom house a month. He also made the laundry machines coin operated.
The house itself needs alot of work. Sometimes he would pay and fix things like plumbing or a broken water heater but most the time the residents would have to pay for certain repairs with promises of being paid back but he would never pay it back.
I also understand(maybe I’m wrong) but a non profit organization needs a board of directors. He claims to have a board of directors but the people on the board are not even real people.
Is there some organization I could call to have an investigation into this guy. He just recently illegally evicted me with no eviction notice and hes keeping my deposit with no written explanation.
I know hes using his car selling business as a cover for his shady business practices. There must be some kind of agency that investigates stuff like this.
Please help me find out. Im a very honest man and I hate to see people like this take advantage of people like me for thier own personal gain without actually returning some help back to us or our community.

So will the government not reimburse Doctors the same way they are not reimbursing these car dealerships?
New York dealerships have removed themselves from the cash for clunkers programs because they have not gotten paid.
Gov didn’t have enough money and knowledge to run Cash for Clunkers – u trust them with running health care?

Towards the end of the program it went bust, dealers were no longer getting re-imbursed even though they had credited consumers, it was a huge mess and the gov resolved it by simply shutting down the whole program! If a simple thing like that gets screwed up, do you think they’re capable of running health care where chemo can cost hundreds of thousands? Or would you trust Blue Cross instead?
all the hype and propaganda that the cash for clunkers was a success has you fooled too lol. Why don’t you try talking to a dealer instead?

The blue book price is around 1625, I think. Also, the odometer and tachometer only display intermittently. Speedometer and engine temp always displays. Car otherwise functions fine.
